Journey to the Cloud; Lessons Learned

On the 2nd of December an Executive Meetup “Journey to the Cloud; Lessons Learned” will be organised by Amazon Web Services and Oblivion Cloud Control. It promises to be an inspiring evening with a focus on knowledge exchange between organisations that have made the step to AWS. The participating organisations are cross-industry and diverse in solutions and applications for the Cloud. We chose the beautiful Royal Palace “Het Loo” in Apeldoorn as the location for the meetup.

Marc van Pinxteren (Program Manager) will share his experiences about his journey to the cloud over the past six years including his time at Essent and Achmea.

AWS Professional Services will talk about the Cloud Adoption Framework. This Framework is created as a result of many years of experience and collaboration between AWS, its partners and custo- mers.

Arjen Pieter Vriens, Head of Channel and Alliances - Benelux Region, will give a presentation on the Cloud Competence Center and Digital Transformation that helps organizations acquire a solid footing on AWS for future expansions.

During a buffet dinner several tables will be available for discussion on different topics. This will provide the opportunity to talk with other professionals about the subjects you care about. The subjects will be:

• Security and Compliance
• Decreasing time-to-market • Governance
• Cost Control
• Digital Transformation
